Week 22: A Solid Choice for Red Sox Fans!

The names for Weeks 20 and 21 were not top choices in my book.  I liked Ruby and Cecilia, but I actually love this week's selection.  Its etimology is Old German and it's meaning is "free man".  While this name is not a top 20 selection on many charts, it is still a very popular choice with numerous ethnic variations.  It also has a fairly formal, aristocratic aura.  Hey, this name was given to the first born child of both a United States President and European royalty!

If you've ever enjoyed the Red Sox experience at Fenway Park, you're undoubtedly familiar with Neil Diamond's 1969 soft rock classic that livens up Boston fans during the seventh inning stretch.  Yup.  You know this one!  It's also the song that gets every Red Sox fan on their feet at a wedding, singing and dancing like they're rock stars (including the guests at Matt and Elena's wedding).  A few beers or cocktails bring out the star quality in all of us.

I LOVE this name! So GOOD! So GOOD! So GOOD!
